Details

The circular hike starts directly at the village square in Deutschnofen and leads across the Höggerhof to the Wölflhof and back to the village square.

Nova Ponente, piazza Gibitz (1357 m) – turn left towards the Wölfl Hof – after 200 m turn left, Kirchsteig K – across meadows and beautiful farms – continue on trail [10] toHögger Hof (1 h) – church path K, path [11B] – Wölfl Hof – path [E5] – village centre (2 h).

Approach

Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Nova Ponente/Deutschnofen (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).

At the roundabout at the beginning of the village go straight on and follow the main road through the village. The starting point “Gibitz square” is located in the centre of Nova Ponente, right next to the church.
