The bike tour starts in Innichen/San Candido and takes the easy bike path along the railway tracks to Toblach/Dobbiaco. After the Toblach train station, the cycle path first continues straight for a few 100m and then turns on the left side in southern direction into the Höhlenstein/Val di Landro valley. Past the Nordic Arena cross-country stadium, leads straight ahead, on a gravel path, to the lake.
