Through the Pana gap to the imposing Seceda

Description
Rasciesa is an untouched alp, which is connected to the Seceda alp through the Forcella di Pana. The majority of the Rasciesa alp is part of the natural park Puez Odle.
Details

The first ascent occurs with the Rasciesa funicular, and from there you can leisurely reach the Brogles alpine hut via Innerraschötzer Alm. The steep ascent at the foot of the Geisler peaks starts via the Panascharte gap, which leads to a wonderful vantage point from where the mighty mountain backdrop can be viewed. The descent leads via “Mastlé Alm” until the Toier hut, from there we take the path n.1A, finally we take the path n.4 to Cristauta.

Approach

Starting point is the valley station of the funicular Resciesa in Ortisei Val Gardena. From the bus stop S. Antonio, you can reach the valley station of the Seceda cable car via the “La Curta” escalators. From there, a five-minute uphill walk leads to the funicular. Car parks near by: Parking + garage Seceda (300 m) Garage Pana (400 m) Garage Central (550 m)
