Start in San Michele | Appiano (crossroad) near the small car park next to the Kreuzwegerhof on the bike path towards Caldaro. Take a right at the railway engine (2.9 km) towards Pferdeübungsplatz. Keep to the left at 4 km. At 7 km, take the left side of the lake towards the Ora bikepath. At 9.5 km take a right on the Kuchlweg. At the end of the Kuchelweg take a right at 11.3 km onto the gravel path. At 12.2 km cross the zebra crossing on the wine road. At the church, cross the wine road again, and follow the promenade to the Geier restaurant. Here, take a left on the gravel path, then at 14.4 km take a left on hiking trail no. 3 to Caldaro. At 17.6 km, take a left for around 200 m, then left to the petrol station. From there, keep to the pavement and follow the wine road to the Caldaro-Appiano bike path (locomotive) back to the starting point.

TIP: This trail is ideal for condition training. A recommended trail in winter, first thing in the morning or evening, as the sun beats directly on the trail.
