Beautiful tour in the quiet Jaufental valley. From the village of Mittertal/ Val di mezzo on a small road towards “Hotel Jaufentalerhof” (signposted). Pass it and continue to Kaltenbrunn. From there turn right and follow the forest path back to Mittertal.
Approach
Coming from Sterzing/Vipiteno follow the signs to Jaufental valley. Turn left in Gasteig/Casateia. After about 5 minutes you will reach the parking lot below the church.
