At the church in Tesselberg, directly by an access road, turn left onto path no. 3 to Oberwielenbach. Follow it through the woods until you reach a crossroads, where you take path no. 7B moving up. After the first forest-free elevation, the Hühnerspiel, you meet trail no. 7, which leads to the summit of the Schönbichl. The way back is via the Tesselberger Alm (trail no. 7).
