Tour Start Last stop bus line 265, Restaurant Wasserfall

Tour EndPenultimate stop bus line 265, Restaurant Birkenwald

Behind the restaurant Wasserfall, the path leads past the old historic eletric power station. Follow the route 8B for a few metres to a junktion on the left with the sign “Alpinsteig Wasserfall”. Now the path continues in numerous serpentines always pleasantly uphill until the turnoff to the lookout point. Here it is definitely worthwhile to walk the short distance downhill and to have a look at the emerald-green pools, which are fed by small rushing waterfalls (“Fallelen”). At the rest area at the lookout point with a view into the valley it is worth having your camera ready.

On the same way back, the trail continues upwards again, passing an impressive rock, to the asphalt road. Here, follow the road to the right until you reach the turnoff for the descent via trail nr. 8B, past the “Fletscherhof” (via the so-called “Fletscher Stiegen”) to the Restaurant Wasserfall. Descend further past the Partschins Waterfall to the Restaurant Birkenwald.
