Starting point is Ranui. From there, we take the forest road nr. 33 that leads, parallel to the river Vilnöss, further into the valley. Thereafter, two slopes are leading us slightly uphill to the Zanser Alm(1680 m) and we cross the bridge, following path 32, along the river Zenon.

Arrived at the Adolf Munkel Path, we follow it in western direction. The astonhishing vegetation in this area, accompanies us on this path. The view is breathtaking as well. As soon as we cross path 36, we turn right and follow it to the Geisler Hut. From there, we can take the Munkel-Path on the right hand side and take path nr. 28 therafter, in order to return to the forest road that leads us directly back to the car park.
