From Pemmern, the asphalt path (path 7) leads to the Rosswagen and from there ( path 4) to above the forest line, where the “Schian”, the Ritten Alp, opens up. Here our trail joins trail 1 and leads us to the “Unterhorn” inn or the “Jausenstation Feltunerhütte”.

Soon we reach (on 2a) the highest point of our tour, the Rittnerhorn refuge on the Rittner Horn. (Please do not descend on path 1!) After a short descent from the Rittner Horn, we keep to the right and briefly follow the path 2 and then the wide path (not marked), which joins path 1 again, to the Gasteiger Sattel. Here via trail 7, 7a, 6 to the new Gasser Hut.
