The three Holy Fountains in Trafoi are situated in a small chapel, which has been a place of pilgrimage for the Virgin Mary since the 15th century. The way to the place of pilgrimage is about 2.5 km long and always runs evenly, so it’s suitable for baby strollers. In addition, the beautiful path to the Holy three Wells is accessible all year round.

Details

From the national park visitor center “naturatrafoi” follow the signs “Drei Brunnen” to the church of Trafoi. From there continue to the campsite and then follow path no. 18 to the three Holy Wells.

Approach

From Spondigna/Spondinig via the street to the Stelvio Pass SS 38 to Trafoi. This peaceful pilgrimage site lies approx. three kilometers from the village of Trafoi and is a worthwhile destination for summer and winter excursions.
