The winter hike to the Schliniger Alm Alpine farm is an easy hike for the whole family. At the end of the village of Slingia/Schlinig (1,738 m), follow the wide trail over broad meadows used in summer for grazing. The trail proceeds gently uphill to the farm (Alp Planbell, 1,868 m). This is a nice place to enjoy refreshments and the panoramic views of the Schliniger Tal valley from the sun terrace. The return route is the same as the ascent. Alternatively, you can take your own sledge back downhill. There is also a 15-km long cross-country skiing trail near the farm.
