Via ferrata: Sentiero Bonacossa

Description
This easy via ferrata, which has a lot of walking terrain between the secured sections (sure-footedness is a must!), is one of the most beautiful in the Dolomites. Along the way from south to north through the Cadini group there are several short counter climbs to be overcome.

The starting point of the via ferrata is the Col de Varda Hut.The sentiero Bonacossa/Bonacossa-Weg is a beginners’ fixed rope route in the Cadini mountain group. The jurney up the mountain is made by chairlift from the Lago Misurina/Misurinasee lake. From there the path takes along a rocky ledge to the Fonda Savio Hut.

For the descend is the trail no. 115 to the “Lago di Misurina/Misurinasee” lake or continue the trail no. 117 to the Auronzo Alpine Refuge and return to Misurina by bus.
