The tour begins at the parking place Steineben, above Latzfons. Following the signs “Klausner Hütte” it is first on the toboggan run, then up on a forest path to the refuge. From the Klausner Hütte (1923 m), the path leads to Latzfonser cross where a pilgrimage church and an inn standing. Now You walk further west and turn right on path no. 17 a. Past a beautiful, but almost hidden mountain lake to get to the saddle. There you go right up to the Kassianspitze. We return on the same route.
