The wooden irrigation channel called Kaandlwool still fulfil its important function. It is fed by two sources rising in the so-called Sebelwald. The irrigation channel carries water all around the year. Every year on 24 June, feast day of St. John the Baptist, the source has its highest flow rate that lasts until the winter months. The irrigation channel is about 2 km long and mainly consists of excavated wooden trunks
