This beautiful hiking tour leads from Aldino to the place of pilgrimage “Maria Weissenstein/ Pietralba”. We go past spectacular viewpoints and the mountain huts “Schmieder Alm” and “Schönrast Alm”.
We start our tour in the centre of Aldino and follow the main street to the pizzeria “Waldrast”. There we turn right, following the trail no. 11 until we reach “Residence Scheidnerhof”. For about 200 m we follow the main street and then we turn left, following the trail “Praderweg”. At the junction we take the trail no. 15, guiding us to the mountain hut “Schmieder Alm”. Here we have an amazing view of the South Tyrolean mountains.We continue our tour and go to the hut “Schönrast Alm”. We pass the “Pichlwies” and following the path we come to “Weissenstein”.
