From the center of Algund you hike along trail no. 25A to Kaffee Conrad. The same marking continues past the Schlundenstein natural monument to Vellau. From Vellau you now follow the leader alpine path no. 26, which leads you to the farms/snack stations Kienegger and Oberplatzer. From here you now rejoin trail no. 25A, which takes you directly to the top station of the Korb lift below the Leiter Alm.If you have tired legs, it is recommended to take the Korblift and Sesselift on the way back.

Approach
Via the Adige Valley, take the MeBo expressway to the Algund exit.
Coming from Vinschgau, Algund is just before Merano.
