The cross country track takes along the old railway track from Toblach/Dobbiaco to Cortina, which was closed in the early 1960s.
The nearby road with its several bus stops means that you can leave the trail at virtually any point, for example if you are tired or have problems with your equipment.

Details

The most famous cross country track goes from the cross country stadium in Toblach/Dobbiaco till Cortina d’Ampezzo. The track leads a little uphill in the middle of the wood, passing the lake of Toblach/Dobbiaco, the War Cemetery, the View of the Three Peaks/Landro and the Dürrensee/Landro lake till the pass Gemärk/Cimabanche. From there it continues downhill throgh the galleries to Cortina.
