• Hiking time: 3h 45min • Trail numbers: 25, 32, 35, 4, 4B • The hike starts at the car park Zans (1680 m). Walk on the gradually ascending trail no. 25 and then no. 32 alongside the Kaserill stream until you reach hut Kaserillalm (1920 m). Then continue on the slightly steeper trail no. 32 which leads to hut Schlüterhütte (2297 m). Behind the alpine hut, follow trail no. 35 to Kreuzkofeljoch (2340 m) where you turn onto trail no. 4 continuing on level path to Peitlerscharte (2357 m). At the wayside cross, turn right onto trail no. 4B which leads in serpentines to the access to the via ferrata. An easy via ferrata which is equipped with a steel rope leads to the summit of the Sas de Putia (2875 m). • Alternatively, you can hike to the lower peak of the Sas de Putia (2813 m). Slightly below the access of the via ferrata, this trail starts to the left and leads to the lower peak without vie ferratas.

• Hiking time: 4h 30min • Trail numbers: 8A, 4, 35, 8B, 8A • The hike starts at the car park Würzjoch pass (2006 m). Follow trail no. 8A for about 30 min. until the trail becomes narrower: The rock faces of the Peitlerkofel rise up to the left. Trail no. 8A joins trail no. 4, which leads somewhat steeper uphill through the Peitlerscharte. Once you reach the highest point of the Peitlerscharte (2357 m), continue on trail no. 35 to the Gömajoch (2111 m) on the west side of the Peitlerkofel. From there, continue relatively level on trail no. 8B and then on trail no. 8A back to the Würzjoch car park.

• Hiking time: 6h 40min • Trail numbers: 28, 29 • The hike starts at the car park Ranui (1370 m) near St. Magdalena. Walk on trail no. 28, a wide forest road, continually ascending through the woods until you reach a crossroads (1716 m). Turn right and after a few metres you will find the beginning of trail no. 29. Follow the serpentine, narrow and steeper trail no. 29 to reach Mittagsscharte (2597 m). The stunning view of Villnöss Valley is worth a short rest. In the Mittagsscharte, there is the access to the via ferrata which leads to the summit of the Sass Rigais. It is equipped with steel ropes and belaying with a climbing harness is strongly recommended as the trail consists of many exposed parts. Danger, falling rocks due to other mountaineers! The last few metres to the summit, you have to walk on a narrow, exposed crest which is not equipped with a steel rope. From the summit of the Sass Rigais (3025 m) you will have an impressive panoramic view of the surrounding valleys and peaks of the Dolomites.
